
Juniper is a coniferous tree or shrub in the cypress family. Juniperus is found all over the Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic to Africa. They are known for their hardiness, adaptability and diverse uses.
Preferred soil conditions:
Moist, well drained organic soil types. Small amount of sandy or clay soil acceptable.
Although most do well in wet areas, no standing water should remain for lengths of time.
Mulch after planting and water as necessary for the first year and periods of drought thereafter.
